Terms & Conditions
Welcome
By placing an order with us, using our website, or accepting delivery of any products or services from RF Engine, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. No signature is required for agreement to take effect.
Product Warranties
- New Parts: Sold under the original manufacturer's warranty, terms, and conditions only. Copies available upon request.
- Rebuilt, Reconditioned, and Used Parts: Covered by inspection warranty only unless otherwise stated. We recommend careful inspection prior to installation.
- No Implied Warranty: RF Engine does not provide additional warranties outside of those stated above.
Returns and Exchanges
- Call us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending any item back.
- Returns must be received within 30 days, freight prepaid, and in unused "like new" condition with original packaging.
- All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Order Accuracy and Responsibility
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect all items upon arrival to ensure correct fitment and condition. Parts installed incorrectly or damaged due to improper installation are not eligible for refund or replacement.
Order Cancellations
If your order has not shipped, we will do our best to cancel it without penalty. Orders already shipped or processed may incur return fees.
Pricing and Availability
We strive for accuracy but reserve the right to correct errors in pricing, descriptions, and availability without prior notice. We also reserve the right to cancel orders placed with incorrect information.
Best Price Promise
If you find the same part offered for less by another supplier, let us know and we will do our best to beat that price by 5%. Our Best Price Promise is offered in good faith as part of our commitment to earning your business, subject to the following conditions:
- The matched item must be the same brand and condition (new, rebuilt, reconditioned, or used) as the item offered by RF Engine.
- Both RF Engine and the competing supplier must have the item in stock and available for sale at the time the request is submitted. Out-of-stock, backordered, clearance, liquidation, auction, and discontinued listings do not qualify.
- The competing offer must be from a different supplier and must be verifiable through a valid, publicly accessible link or documentation.
- Price matching applies to the part price only and does not apply to core charges, shipping, taxes, fees, or any other charges. Core charges remain fixed and are refundable upon return of an acceptable core in accordance with our core return policy.
- Requesting a price match is not a commitment to purchase anything, and submitting a request does not guarantee a match will be offered.
- All pricing and eligibility will be verified prior to purchase. RF Engine reserves the right to decline any request that is not a genuine like-for-like comparison or that cannot be reasonably verified.
- RF Engine reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Best Price Promise at any time without prior notice. Some restrictions or limitations may apply.
Shipping and Risk
All shipments are FOB shipping point. Risk of loss passes to the buyer once the item is in the possession of the carrier. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers or events beyond our control.
Use of Manufacturer Names
Any manufacturer names, part numbers, or trademarks are used only for identification and reference purposes. We do not claim affiliation or endorsement unless explicitly stated.
Parts Lookup Database, Check Fit Tool, and Fitment Disclaimer
Our parts lookup database and our Check Fit tool are provided as a convenience to help customers identify potentially compatible parts based on the make, model, and engine of their machine. We have invested significant effort in researching and maintaining this fitment data, and it is offered in good faith and with reasonable diligence to ensure accuracy.
That said, fitment in the diesel engine and equipment world is not always a simple one-to-one match, and we want our customers to understand the realities involved before relying on any fitment guide — ours or anyone else's.
Common reasons why a part listed as a fit may still require verification:
- Optional equipment and build variations. Many machines were offered from the factory with multiple engine options, transmission configurations, fuel system variants, or regional specifications. Two machines with the same model number can use entirely different internal components.
- Serial number breaks. Manufacturers routinely make running changes during a production cycle. A part that fits a machine built before a particular serial number may not fit the same model built after it, and vice versa.
- Manufacturer updates and supersessions. OEM part numbers are frequently superseded, redesigned, or consolidated over time. Older and newer revisions of the same component may differ in dimensions, materials, or mounting details.
- Aftermarket and rebuilt variations. Reconditioned, rebuilt, and aftermarket parts can have slight differences from the original equipment they replace, including oversize bearings, machined surfaces, and updated tolerances.
- Application crossover. The same base engine is often used across multiple equipment platforms (tractors, generators, industrial, marine, etc.), and accessory or auxiliary components may vary between those applications.
Our commitment. We do our best to keep our fitment data current and to flag known exceptions where we are aware of them. When the lookup or Check Fit tool indicates a part fits a particular application, that result reflects our good-faith research — not a guarantee.
If you have any doubt, please contact us before ordering. Our parts specialists are available by phone (800-828-6943), email, or live chat during normal business hours. Having your machine's full serial number, engine serial number, and a clear description of the part you need available will help us confirm fitment quickly and accurately.
Final responsibility for fitment rests with the installing mechanic or technician. Before installing any part, the installer should physically compare the new part to the part being replaced — checking dimensions, port locations, mounting points, threads, and any other relevant fitment characteristics. Parts that have been installed, modified, painted, or otherwise put into service cannot be returned, regardless of whether they ultimately fit the application.
By using our parts lookup database or Check Fit tool and by placing an order based on those results, you acknowledge that you understand the considerations above and accept responsibility for verifying fitment prior to installation.
Limitation of Liability
Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the part. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use a product sold by us.
Jurisdiction and Legal Disputes
All claims, disputes, or legal actions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and are subject to jurisdiction in Shiawassee County. By completing a purchase, you consent to these terms.
